When you decided to wear pink fur..
i’m currently hooked on light bronze-y eye makeup combined with killer lashes. Coincidentally, i also got my first (faux) fur in champagne pink color and the combination just seemed fitting.
All achieved by :
- Dolly Wink Eyeshadow Palette No1 Brown (i used shade C, a copper bronze) what i love about this eyeshadow is how creamy they are, and gives better result blended by finger rather than brush (at least for me, who favors slightly imperfect,lived-in look, makeup wise). It’s so pretty and subtle. However, an eye primer beforehand might be necessary since it wore off quite fast.
- Moving on unto the lashes.. I used Eyeko Fat Brush Mascara (which is a pretty close Diorshow dupe) combined with Dior eyelash primer. I fell so hard for DiorShow Maximizer Lash Pumping Serum. This primer-slash-conditioner really does amplify the lashes, made them extra lush and long. All minus the flakes a regular eye primer might produce. Although, they do weight your lashes down a bit so if you opt for the wide-eyed lashes look, use an eyelash curler after the primer+mascara combo has dried up (about 15-20 minutes) otherwise it’d be disastrous.
- for the flushed cheek, i dabbed and gently blend Pixi Sheer Cheek Gel In Flushed. I cracked the code to make this baby made my cheek looked rosy all.day.long. I kid you not, i went home with equally rosy complexion as when i got out of the house. It was three layers of application. Slowly building the colors till you reach the desired intensity. But never go overboard with them or you’ll end up looking like a lobster.
- i used @jarofbeauty Cotton Candy Tinted Lip Balm, a perfectly rosy shade for rosy winter lips. They’re so luscious on the lips, making reapplication something to look forward to. Props to these creative and passionate ladies for creating this local line. I wish you guys success!
